I apply it in the corners and temple points

Nah I apply 0.5 ml each side
I’m probably just applying too quickly. I try to only do a drop at a time and rub it in with the dropper, but maybe sometimes I’m squeezing too much

Also, it keeps getting on my hair. I don’t want to waste it and just want it on my scalp

I tilt my head backwards and rub it in with my fingers. Never had a problem.
I also wait like 20-30 seconds before i tilt my head back down
