How do you cure looksmaxing OCD?

I developed looksmaxing OCD.

Obsessing over facial flaws and compulsively engaging in ineffective acts of desperation like palatal thumbpulling, hard Mewing, forceful skull narrowing, orbital fingerpulling etc.

None of them work (nor are they safe and healthy), but I can’t help but feel compelled to do them. Just hoping for 0.1 mm of bone reshaping.

And the repetitive looking in mirrors, windows, any reflective surface I come across—and frequently opening the Camera app—to check facial flaws. I can’t stop.

It's honestly insane that you're still as obsessed despite it being years, the blackpill is truly irreversible and you won't be able to see things differently anymore

I think it's a lifestyle at this point, but yes you can get free from them if you just accept defeat and leave this forum and start doing some other hobby to keep you occupied but if that's not a path that's even remotely something you would consider as even optional than its time to go under the frickin knife and pray

I’m getting more mentally ill, but I don’t know how to stop/reverse it. My brain’s getting more fucked with each passing day.

Dude I’m in such an awfully irritable and impatient mood rn. Usually, I’m not like this. At the time of writing, I do not care about anything other than pleasure in the moment and in the immediate future. Gimme the fuckin drugs now or I’d rather die. I’m sure it won’t be long until I stabilize back to a neutral mental state.

You need to find something else, that's the only thing that can help you tbh.

If i don't got nothing else to think about, i'll be thinking about looks theory and surgeries 24/7 in my head

Difficult. Obsessive compulsive disorder assumes a 50-50 cause-effect relationship, you have to be calm because only a small part of things is important, but you know that. Try to loosen your grip.

Ive been on the forum since 2020 and at the beggining I was completely obsessive with some stuff and my self esteem dropped, I developed some habits like jutting and slightly frowning eyebrows, I was doing bonesmashing as well but now I lost that obsession but still keep those habits
