No matter how high IQ or perceptive you can be, or how hard you try, the flipped image of yourself (the one that people see, aka. not the mirror one), is so asymmetric and bad, it's insane how bad it is.

I get nice confidence boost from looking at selfie camera before shuttering, or mirror, and then when I actually take a picture and it gets flipped to what you really look like, I legit want to rope.

I can look 5-6/10 -> 2-3/10. How is it that bad? It makes no sense, it's two different people literally.

cause ur used to the selfie version, both are equally asymmetrical

How much is this IQ that i understand that people look better in real life than in photos?

But still, with modern days, you're bound to have to take pics with loved ones, and co-workers and bunch of gathering occasions. Looking good in pics is almost as crucial as irl. And then you get posted online, and the whole world will have to see it.

you know what the trick is? you get that ugly ass pic of you and you stare at it minutes on end. maybe even hours.

once you get used to it, your brain will not make any difference between both. it sounds like magic but its reality.
