how do you fraud a long midface

I have a really long midface and it’s negative effects are amplified by recessed maxilla. My maxilla is flat at best but infras are fucked so i look like a bug from the side. Im planning to get infra implants but is there any way to fraud to appear to have a shorter midface?

A long midface doesn’t necessarily look bad as long as the things around it are good. So focus on the things around it.

If you fix the recession in the maxilla and have a tall non downward grown mandible a long midface can look good(I’m talking about a 0.95 ratio with interpupilary distance).

If it’s longer than a 0.95 ratio with your interpupilary distance I would say it’s too long.

The it comes to a question of wether or not it’s caused by a long nose or a long philtrum. If it’s a long nose then it’s gg, just accept it. If it’s a long philtrum then it can be fixed with a lip lift.

The second before and after I gave you , was a Lefort 1 with a lip lift. They removed the bone via an impaction and then removed the skin via a lip lift. Shortening the philtrum.

Another thing to note is that I have yet to see a good lip lift on males. So take this with a grain of salt

my ratio is around ~1.1 and yeah my maxilla is recessed. I was planning on infra implants to help my maxilla as much as I can, but I know that it won't do too much realistically. Do you have any recommendations besides lefort 1?

I don’t think you know what ratio I am talking about.

I am talking about interpupilary distance divided by height from iris to top lip

And this won’t tell you if your maxilla is recessed. It will only tell you if your midface is long

I think my measurement picture was bad I got 0.95 on the dot. However I think my midface is perceived to be longer by some because my maxilla and infras.

I used to also have a severe underbite and its starting to come back so my maxilla looks very downswung. I talked to a few orthos but they all don't want to do anything crazy until my growth has slowed.

So my question was do you think theres anything else besides infra implants or paranasal
