I usually go for a walk on Saturday and the rest of the time being lay down on my bed on my phone as I have nothing else to look forward to. I’m gonna try get a job at the beginning of next year which might help but i doubt the weekends will change (you may ask why not now? i’m going on holiday soon and i don’t want to tell my potential boss i can’t work for 4 weeks JFL.

Most kids my age spend there weekends down x highstreet, x beach or friends houses.
I’m sure @enriquecuador can agree with me on this.

people usually relax or visit friends or family. One major factor is your age and current life situation. If your like 8-16 years old weekends are amazing because your not really wage slaving, you just go to school and come home do a little home work and study for a quiz or test every 2 weeks. Heck when i was younger in junior high and elementary school you could come to school tired and half asleep and get through the day, all you had to do was say you felt sick or didnt feel well and 95 percent of the time teachers would just let you sleep in the back of the class, in highschool i would say that 95 percent goes down to 75 percent.

Once you have bills for a car/apartment and need to save money you value weekends even more. It also depends on the type of work you do, some jobs there is literally 3-5 hours down time on a 8 hour shift. Other jobs you may need to be alert 7-9 hours on a shift. The best jobs for life and work balance are like cyber security/ network work at home part time jobs. Here in the city some state/government jobs allow you to work 2 days out of the week at home, the other 3 days you work in a office. The beauty of these jobs is you can plan around a 24 hour window instead of a 8 hour shift.

i would say folks go otu for the adventure of meeting new people and situations, but that does cost money. You can go to free events/concerts in the city.
