How do you improve attention span?

Social media and this website ruined my attention span. What can I do to fix it? It’s making it harder for me to focus on my studies and it’s also affecting my gym performance since I can’t be bothered to do full reps of exercises anymore

Go monk mode - no electronics or any electric devices. Read only books or stuff that's printed, wake up and go to bed early to catch as much natural light you can, use candles or oil lamps if you need to study at night, etc.

That’s too much. I need to stay online to be NT. I already sleep for 8-10 hours. Why use candles tho? Blue light?

To stay away from anything electric or electronic, like light bulbs.
Staying online can quickly drain your attention - you're gonna jump from one page to another, watch youtube and tiktok clips, post on forums, read articles, waste time on useless stuff, etc.
If you really need Internet for work or study, get an extension to limit your browser to only one tab and disable the images and clips, keep only the text.

i had this bad habbit of having 50+ tabs open in the past
i somehow stopped it an im max at 2-3 now
maybe i subconsciously realised all info on the internet is USELESS

Remember that action leads to the right state of mind, not the other way around.

If that caused it then surely just cut it out?

Maybe take a month away from social media and .org and based on how you feel after either re introduce it slowly and put a bit of a restriction on your use to stop damaging your attention span again or if you still have issues then keep cutting it out for a longer period of time and maybe dont re introduce it at all.

I’m just gonna be straight up that’s really hard to do. Especially social media. I’m gonna try to use the internet when I really have to, like responding to msgs. But that’s still a lot to cut for me

Just try and do it slowly maybe cut out one day a week or something. Or even just try and decrease your average usage by an hour a day.

Just do it gradually, even if its just one app at a time or smth.

Good environment, if you are complaining about attention span, chances are you are not fit to do anything productive in your own room. So go to a library.

Delete social media until you ascend, reinstall it when girls become a priority, unfortunately IG seems to be a prerequisite for communicating with most chicks these days, literally only reason I maintain a profile/keep it on my phone.

Social media is legit a cancer optimized to waste your time and life, and unironically one the biggest disservices any man trying to improve can do for himself.
