How do you style your hair

Im having sum trouble styling mine. It never holds the way I want it to unless I use big amounts of product. I’d say I have a2 hair it’s pretty fine and flat. Any tips will help

right now I use a hair clay, texture powder and a hairspray with completely dry hair so idk if it would look good
