How does attraction truly work?

I've had multiple discussions with plenty of people here about it


Some believe that generally people are attracted to others who look atleast slightly similar

Which is why people like barret and drago are sometimes seen as uncanny by copers because people that attractive and with that structure are rare so there aren't that many people who can find their beauty familiar and be attracted to it


On the other hand some believe that we're generally attracted to what we envy or lack, ex :Indians being extremely attracted to blonds

JBW and BBC pill are kind of prime examples of both these things


Black guys have infinitely more SMV to black girls, but white guys seem to have god tier appeal to Asian girls


In your opinion which one of these is the most common?

I think some types of people (prob usually mtb+ white girls, etc) are attracted to familiarity. These are prob the types of people who have more positive opinions of their own looks. Some people are attracted to contrast , which I would say more times than not could be for people who are less secure in themselves. For sure not always the case though, just speaking generally. I still think the psychology of attraction is way to complex to say that it works the same for certain groups of people

Makes sense, attractive girls tend to be very narcissistic as well so they want to basically fuck a male version of themselves

Facial averageness works on familiarity, but if a girl is very attractive she's naturally gonna be attracted to dudes who are familiar to her specifically aka borderline uncanny looking dudes
