Slightly or severe, or does it affect it at all?

generally associated with narrower palate, which means more crowding, teeth more crooked, higher likelihood of wisdom teeth impacting etc

it comes in a package, its a chain reaction - multiple negative things happen

What would be the main ones?
just visualize it in your head. face gets longer, palate must be narrow bc its linked to mouth breathing, crowded teeth therefore, higher gonial angle, ANS gets lower, longer philtrum, worse orbitals since they rest on the maxilla, flat face, maybe recessed midface, uneven lips, some say it elongates the midface but i dont think so i think thats genetics but it does elongate the face that is true, you loose dimorphism aswell

this is not a must, its just potential effects that might or might not happen (example: gummy smiles are linked to downward growth aswell but not everybody has vertical excess)

If you are downwardggrown you most likely have 100 other problems like crowding or crossbite. Thats the problems I have atleast.
