One piece is literally made weekly, and yet has some of the best animation in anime right now.
Meanwhile something like my hero acadamia takes months to years between seasons and the animation is average, lazy, or even bad in a lot of parts.
For example the animation in the first episode of the most recent season was horrible. It’s gotten better in the 2nd and 3rd eps but still.
How does one piece do it?
I understand the budget per episode for One Piece is like $20m or something crazy, but still.
