We didn't just jog after the animal until it got exahausted, because they would quickly get out of range and we would be gassed.

Instead, You use your big brain to find a susceptible animal, then you startle it, it runs away at top speed and It quickly gets out of range, but you walk after it, sneaking up on it. When you catch up, you startle it again. Repeat until it's completely out of gas, then walk up to it and kill it.

So long distance running is fucking retarded. Humans weren't build to be jogging for miles. Humans were built for Sneaking and Sprintmaxxing

"… no animal walks or runs as we do. We keep the trunk erect; in walking, our knees are almost straight at mid-stance; the forces our feet exert on the ground are very markedly two-peaked when we walk fast; and in walking and usually in running, we strike the ground initially with the heel alone. No animal walks or runs like that."

For bigger animals like mammoth you ganged up on it with spears and hope one of your homies doesn't get crushed

it's like you got everything wrong, amazing.

you clearly don't understand anything about humans, let alone animals. If you think most animals can simply walk non-stop for minutes like humans do you're out of your mind. That's precisely why humans sweat so much, as oppose as most animals who'd overheat. Plus humans suck at running, humans can't outrun almost no other mammal, we suck and that's of course partially because we are bipedal.

Yeah, that's why we persistence hunt. Just fast enough to keep the animal on the move. The sun is sweltering, no chances to drink or eat or rest.

Of course grazing animals can walk, but you never give it a chance to. Once it starts walking you sprint up after it and let it run full speed away from you, then you walk back to it. Let it run again at full speed, sneak up on it again. Repeat.

I don't really get your point here, can you make it more clear?

so what would be high t
100m-400m sprinting would that be ideal

yeah, exactly. Walk for a few minutes then go back to sprinting.

Personally i like to do a slow jog instead of a complete walk, due to the momentum and the way my arms move.

For what?
Like running on a treadmill is dumb walking is better

Early humans only ran to catch prey and they sprinted not jogging

When would you get a chance to stab it? Gazelles can run a 5km in 4 minutes (World record is 13:30 btw) and this isn't even their top speed. You would lose sight of it.

btw sprinting increases growth hormone and debloats you. :feelshah::feelshah:

actually we are on board, I thought you were implying we'd just sprint nonstop which wouldn't make sense since we're not that good at running, even though we have good stamina.
