How familiar are you with Lord of the Rings?

I read The Fellowship of the Ring in my adolescence and never concluded the other books. I know Led Zeppelin was very influenced by the books, hence my desire to read them, yet I can't bring myself to because it's tiring and not so intriguing as it used to be when I was younger.
