I’ve been thinking about taking it up as a hobby is it a high chance to become a vegetable?

The fighters you know about and see on television or in person are the lucky ones. Not all fighters are lucky. That shit can end in one fight. Poof! You're gone from this world. "See ya! Wouldnt want to be ya."

just have high fighting success traits and it should be easy

Those people really know what they’re doing, 99% of the time spent training, lifting weights, practicing hitting the punching bag in just the right way, perfecting techniques in whatever fighting style, all just so they can have a real mma fight that 1% of the time. I dont know about mma in particular but thats actually probably less likely to cause a brain injury than something like boxing because with boxing you are only allowed to use your hands and that leads to people trying to hit your head, but with mma there are a million ways to take down your opponent

Well, MMA means "mixed martial arts", it's like an eclectic system combining techniques from other fighting sports, you should study and practice other styles first like boxing, karate, judo, etc.; after you become skilled at those, only then start with MMA.

train muay thai, bjj then consider mma ded srs

you need the genetic for attack tolerance on your skull

Shouldve trained from childhood on. You are better off doing bjj. You can also do wrestling if your body can tolarate it. If all else fails find martial arts with set rules like karate where you only hit the body.
