i’m the owner of two adorable miniature poodles
when i talk to girls on ig (my pics often feature my dogs) i tend to bring them up if i see they like dogs, sometimes they even ask me about them so we already have an enthusiastic conversation going
if you’re autistic like me then an activity involving your pet can help you socialize. when i met my to-be prom date we would go on walks with my dog and then sit at her place while they were running around and playing (making her associate me with positive shit, in this case happy dogs wagging their tails and play fighting)
i threw a party at my place later that month, everyone was playing with my dogs and the girl showed up in the sluttiest dress ever she was literally all over me that night and the best part is my dogs were bros so they didn’t cockblock me jfl (ended up going to prom with her, kissing and doing dry)
my dogs were used to her smell so they jumped on her and licked her every she saw them making her a lot more approachable
this is a more theoretical part but i also believe that your pet reflects your pheno
• german shepherd = thugmaxxed
• golden retriever = approachable
• poodle = jestermaxxed (sadly my case)
