How to really succed? - Literally make people WANT to click on your videos, do things that @Tomazoo is doing, do what @astro is doing..

Even copying José Zuniha, Alpha m, dre drexler, brett mvrk wouldn't hurt. You can make some sick shit, you just need to beat the algorithm

As far as money goes, you need to be pulling a hell of a lot views to get decent money.. It's extremely hard to get such amount of views but i believe you can do it, if you do my steps

Youtube is OK if you can upload video im which you've put so many effort, but got just 200 views like i do, i literally put myself into making video whole day just so i can get 200 fucking views. There you go ☝, hope this helps... Takes too many to be paid just a crap, if you ask me

try to delete low quality videos or older videos, especially if you dont frequently upload
advertise by making alts on other websites and clipping some intense excerpts of some of your videos which are actually good
I dont have experience with vlogs, but what helped me most is foreshadowing, like a greyscreen were you talk about what happens in this video or sth like that, but this might be different for vlogs and the like
also, try to get coop from bigger youtubers and YOU HAVE to be on your prime when you are included in their videos
also, if make some kind of guides/tutorials or explaining a concept, youtube added a new feature where you can add time-markers in the video bar (this looks highly professional)
Become very good at editing (dont overdo effects, just very pleasant edits)
