This is the only guide you will ever need to dye your hair better than a salon
1. Why did I do it?
Simply Put = Contrast
I always had brown Hair but we all know black creates high contrast with skin, enhancing facial features and creating a dramatic, sophisticated, or mysterious look.
Now I would never do this over 15% BF becomes it definitely makes your features pop more so use it for your advantage.
Same goes for using blond dye etc. JUST CREATE MORE CONTRAST
2. What do you need
It’s actually very simple you need your normal local hair dye.
Now don’t use the for men BS crap cause its just full with the very very last crapy chemicals. At least use something from the women’s section where they give you a whole Kit which consists of three things.
I used the Loreal Paris Black Preference Dye
A good set consists of these things:
1.Dye
2. Compound
3.Conditioner/Mask
3. How to dye your hair
1.You mix the dye with the compound make sure you mix it really well.
2.Wear gloves and put the compound dye in your roots first let it sit for 20 min( i applied it everywhere immediately cause I didn’t read the instructions) -> this works on short hair on longer it won’t.
3.After applying it to your roots mix it trough your entire hair and leave it in for 5 more minutes. Really make sure it’s everywhere and rub it in your scalp (This will color your scalp a bit too and give the illusion of more density)
4.Wash the dye out and apply the conditioner
Wash the dye out(squint your eyes like crazy you don’t want that shit in your eyes TRUST ME)
Apply the conditioner this time even to your roots cause your scalp need a lot of hydration leave it longer then recommended (the brand I used said 2 min I did 5min)
5.Wash out and air dry (use a good oil for hair health if you have one)
4.Enjoy
