This is exactly how I’ve personally found the easiest, most natural-looking way to appear around 6 feet tall without using bulky elevator shoes.

1. Start With Naturally Tall Sneakers (No Elevator Shoes Needed)

In my experience, the best strategy is to use regular sneakers that already have a tall sole. This avoids the obvious “elevator shoe” look and just seems like normal footwear.

My favorite choice: Nike Air Max 720s

  • They’re genuinely good-looking shoes
  • They’re comfortable
  • They naturally add about 1.5" to 1.7" of height
  • Nobody questions them, because they’re just athletic shoes with a big air bubble
That alone takes someone who’s 5’9.5" to basically 5’11"+.

2. Add a Low-Profile Insole for an Extra Boost

The trick is to use a thin, single-layer insole — not giant elevator ones that make your heel sit weird.

What worked best for me:
  • A simple 1-inch foam or gel insole
  • Must be full-foot, not just a heel lift — this keeps the foot balanced
  • Should feel natural when walking (if it doesn’t, swap brands)
With the Air Max 720 sole + a 1-inch insole, the combined lift becomes:

1.5"–1.7" (shoe) + ~1" (insole) = 2.5"–2.7" total height gain

That puts a 5’9.5" person at right around 6’0"–6’1" in public.

3. Why This Method Works So Well

Based on my own experience, here’s why this combo is the most believable:

Looks completely natural

People know Air Max shoes run tall, so the added height doesn’t look suspicious.

Doesn’t feel like wearing elevator shoes

No weird posture, no stiff angle, no discomfort.

Comfortable all day

As long as the insoles are soft and the shoes fit half a size up if needed.

No risk of being called out

It’s just a normal sneaker + insole setup. Nothing extreme.

4. Tips I Learned Along the Way

  • Buy the shoes half a size bigger if adding insoles (prevents toe pressure)
  • Replace the stock insole instead of stacking it on top
  • Pick insoles that don’t lift only the heel (that throws off your stride)
  • Break them in for a day so they feel natural

5. Final Height Estimate Example

For someone around 5'9"–5'9.5", this setup usually results in:
  • Air Max 720s: +1.5" to +1.7"
  • Comfortable insole: +1.0"
  • Total: +2.5" to +2.7"
Resulting height: 5'11.5"–6'0.2", very close to a legit 6 foot in public.

mirrin effort and it's your first post, however frauding from 5'9 to 6'0 is too much and noticeable if you need to take off your shoes.
I would fraud max 1.5-2inches

mirin’ the effort but realistically, you can’t pull this off.

even if you will look a lil bit disproportionate from frauding 4+ inches on my book its worth the halo

this is somewhat clickbait, after you account for other people wearing shoes that add 0.7-1 inch of height, you net 1.5-2.0 inches perceived increase best case scenario, which is still a very good result for a simple insole and actually very realistic to daily. ive been doing this for a while and took off my shoes countless of times around my friends and never got caught. just make sure to sit when you take off the shoes or else you are gonna get caught

i been doing the airmaxes for a while but idk if insoles worth

this isnt true and its a common misconception. most airmaxes dont even give that much height to begin with you can try yourself its probably just a way for nike to sell more shoes. at most some discontinued models give 1.4 inches but its probably not more than that. even air forces give probably 1.2-1.3 inches, the best one is prob the air force 1 lv08 which gives like 1.5 inches since it has an elevated sole pad. i agree with everyone else tho when u take the insole off it will be noticeable but u def arent reaching 6 0 if ur 5 9 u prob r getting only abt 1.2 inches but since u added height it feels like u got taller. even then other ppl are wearing shoes so u really only get abt 1.2-1.3 inches on them which isnt a lot. you can fraud at most to like 5 11 with ur method u def arent getting more.

I mean does it matter what shoes u have , for example if the soles are average height like the shoes of others. Either way other mfs are wearing shoes too and if you are are a bit taller like 1-2cm wtf is the difference. Just buy soles that simple not some bullshit essay on something that can be said in 20 seconds. If you REALLY want to increase w shoes there are these :

Italian shoes with height increasing soles | Mario Bertulli

Heres the description :
The Mario BERTULLI range of height-increasing footwear offers the ideal solution: high quality shoes concealing a unique platform sole that will increase your height by up to 6 cm (2.4”) instantly…. And nobody will notice a thing.

Special design

The unique Mario BERTULLI system includes a reinforced sole at the heel. The anatomically profiled shape fits to the arch of the foot for impeccable ease and comfort.

From the outside, the shoe looks completely normal, and the heel does not appear to be raised or even thicker than usual.

In addition to the standard heel (2 to 3 cm, or 0.8 to 1.2”, depending on the model), an insole offers an extra 7-8 cm (2.8 - 3.1”), depending on your chosen shoe.

Finally someone suggesting Nike 720's they truly are a fantastic shoe to fraud with very comfortable and have the tallest height gain out of all nike shoes ever

I will add that the bubble sole is succeptable to popping, I had both a white and black pair deflate however they are so easy to find cheap I bought them both for 30 USD each
