After years of falling for the moderate calorie deficit meme and IIFYM , I failed to lose body fat. I would lose weight, get small and still have love handles. When you just eat less your body depletes your glycogen stores and then starts burning muscle and fat at the same rate, hence you get smaller and your body comp stays the same.
to stop this we must favour lipolysis , (fat burning as fuel) over burning muscle tissue and glycogen stores. How do we do this, here’s the protocol.
breakfast: you wake up and you take 25mg ephedrine and 200mg caffeine, you then go and eat NOTHING
lunch: again 25mg ephedrine and 200mg caffeine
dinner: 25mg ephedrine and 200mg caffeine
night: now you are starving and you can eat, you are going to eat only protein and some nuts and maybe a bit of cheese and fish oil for essential fats. Max 1300 calories
why this works: NOT ALL CALORIE DEFICITS ARE EQUAL IN FAT LOSS, ephedrine triggers shit ton of adrenaline and your fat cells have adrenaline receptors,when you take it your blood stream is flooded with triglycerides from your fat cells to use for energy ,so it burns that instead of blood sugar and you enter ketosis, when you just eat less your body will favour burning muscle tissue and glycogen over fat stores.
hence why you never get lean even starving yourself, what’s important is where the energy deficit comes from, notice I lost no muscle. Because I constantly flooded my body with triglycerides for energy by abusing ephedrine, it had no reason to go for any other energy source
