This is just my story ok it's not really a tutorial
TLDR: I made around 50-60k by reverse engineering hCaptcha, got a cease and desist from them and sold the source code of the automatic solver for 5k to 11 people
So basically, it all started with teaching myself python because I was always really interested in programming and I fully learnt python at like 11 and continued to study "computer science" and skidding code from github etc. First I wrote a shitty discord multitool that was like famous back in 2022 and early 2023 and made at least 1k from selling license keys for that when i was 12 or 13 but I ended up exit scamming that and just leaving, I started discord botting again after a while which was like the easiest shit ever because there were services like capsolver capmonster etc that solved hCaptcha for me, but those got a big cease and desist and died. So I started trying to reverse engineer hcaptcha myself, first I was just simulating a browser for their fingerprinting but that was slow and flagged, so I learnt more about webassembly and managed to reverse the whole fingerprinting algorithm and encryption so I could generate my own fingerprints exactly like the do fast and undetected, it worked really well on discord until i figured out that I would earn more money selling hCaptcha solves than trying to bot discord and selling discord accounts. So I created a service to sell solves on ANY hcaptcha website since i knew the market for botting was huge (mostly sneaker comm on sites like shopify), It was going really well until hCaptcha started to notice my solves and somehow flagging me. I don't think i made that much from that service but it should be around 5k because i was selling like 1k solves for 1 bucks or something like that. For a while it was just me unflagging my solver as soon as it got flagged and I earnt money without doing much. Untillll
And at the time I was 14 so I basically shit my pants because they sent the exact document they emailed me to my house, I did manage to take it before my parents found it but I was still scared asf. Now that I look back at it I shouldn't have been as scared as I was ngl because they left me alone when I complied with their demands. But that meant no more money for me. I shut down the site and announced that I had received a cease and desist.
At that time I thought I had enough money so I decided to take a break, now I regret not bringing back the service as another name because I could have gotten bigger and made a bit more money. I burnt through that 5k FAST and it was fr the most stupid shit every, mostly food which made me fat asf and I did spend a lot on my friends too which I regret like crazy since I don't even talk with them as much now. So anyway after a few months I started to try to reverse their new stuff just for fun because they had updated a lot of stuff since I left, like the encryption key location being changed etc I won't go into details. But it was simple to write a parser for the encryption key and the fingerprint had barely changed so that meant I had a fully working solver again, but this time I decided to not make a service because that would get noticed by hCaptcha easily so I decided to sell the source code to people for 5k, I got around 11 customers becuase I had already a big name in the botting community, after that I just stopped updating the code because it got very boring. Today hCaptcha has improved like crazy with a fully dynamic encryption which I haven't been able to reverse ngl it was too hard so I gave up. I'm 16 now, and I have realized I'm really bad at managing my money and spent 50k just like that, I'm really poor right now tbh but its fine imo.
