Since many people have been asking, like had this question asked atleast 10 times..

Here is how you browse the dark web safely and find whatever you want

So FOR SAFETY,

You get tor, no shit, then go to settings, security and turn maximum security on.

This disables javascript off and pop-ups and automatic downloads which is extremely good.

Some sites might not work without it bur I mean you're better off without them anyway, you wouldn' fucking want a ransomware or RAT in your pc that will completely fucking rape it anyway.

And for search engines

DuckDuckGo, which is more secure than other search engines

So now we're on DuckDuckGo, go on it and search "Onion Engine" which is my go-to search engine.

It's the best search engine dont bother with other search engines, you can try Torch Engine maybe but onion engine is superior.

So just go on Onion Engine and search whatever you want.

No funny word games or anything, just straight up type whatever you want to watch or see

And thats how u use dark web safely and find whatever u want

Depends which type of Vpns we are talking about b b bud :dafuckfeels:

If it ain’t mullvad or surf shark don't even start

I’ve read about this topic numerous fucking times back and forth when I was browsing tor ages ago, long story short:

Tor on its own for “general” websites it’s fine, but if you want that extra security a VPN literally just enhances it, don’t say it compromises it lmao

If you connect to a VPN before Tor, your VPN can see your real IP and the fact that you're using Tor, so you're just replacing one point of trust (your ISP) with another (the VPN). If you connect to a VPN after Tor, you lose the protection of Tor's exit nodes, and the VPN can see your traffic instead—defeating a core purpose of Tor. Tor is built to protect your identity on its own, and adding a VPN can introduce more risks than benefits unless configured with deep technical understanding.
Tor nodes are a billion times better

I’m not disagreeing with what you said at all.

But you’re missing one giant point which is the ISP knows you’ve entered tor.

Sure it can’t see the website but it can see you’ve entered it and that is a risk I just can’t take here.

VPN makes you less secure

TOR itself is already a VPN, it connects you to 3 different locations, and makes ur location hard to find, since the hacker has to go thru 3 locations

But if u use a VPN, then ur connected to one location only and much easier to be found.

U dumb af if u use vpn

Windows not being secure - what does it not being secure make it vulnerable to?

Linux separates root access clearly users must explicitly elevate privileges
Windows is the most popular OS → most malware is made for it.

It’s the biggest target, especially for ransomware and viruses.

And its closed source no public code audit, linux users can spot and patch vulnarbilitiea earlier since everything is a file

Windows often comes with network sharing, SMB, RDP active by default.
Linux leaves most ports closed unless you configure them.
