Young jensen ackels is an example of deep set eyes not being that important. Also You can have non deepset eyes but still have prominent browridge, caused by suboptimal maxilla projection or flat zygos. And i'd say that browridge is a very important feature to have, literally one of the most dimorphic features a male can have.

These are deepset eyes. If you've watched supernatural, you see that jackles often has a visible lower eyelid, namely his eyes protrude out of his infraorbital rim. You see a red line, or a clear seperation between the lower eyelid and the skin on top of the zygos. In the other image is much harder to make out his lower eyelid

It’s a PSL autist meme to think you need deep set hunter eyes for women to find your face attractive. Obviously you don’t want bug eyes due to terrible craniofacial development but almond shaped/normal set eyes with good brows/lashes/coloring are high appeal.

Yeah but you have a point that a weaker under eye does kind of create the illusion of buggier eyes even if their a good amount behind the nose and frontal bone
