Also is it more worth it to focus on form or on lifting heavier weights over time

>> saying this as chill as possible obv im a greycel

Obviously form, unless you want to be deformed some day

Depends on what you mean by focusing on form

very some, exercises less injury like bicep curls, some high potential like deadlift, you could do "looser form" like with heavy weight and more swaying on lets say bicep curls it would still build muscle but ideally you want to control the weight up and down strict form, and proper fim is best for best posture on squats, deadlifts etc you can fuck up your back if you dont on these type of compounds with shit form

I mean would it be ideal to lower the weights your used to lifting when your form is bad to get a better form, but less gains

it's important for you to not get injured. You *might* still get good stimulus but if you are injured -> you can't train -> no aesthetic body for you

Depends on which exercises. If your goal is an aesthetic physique, you should be doing mostly machines and cables. Injury risk in machines is low and its hard to mess up form. Just focus on getting stronger and youll get bigger. Also just do your diligent research on steroids and you can get your dream physique in 8 months

Use good form but increase the weights as you progress to keep the muscles growing. Bad form just to lift more weight is not good.

Most injuries come from heavyweight benching no? Would it be optimal for me to stay away from that

Clearly im weak as shit. Just letting you know my max bench is deadass like 45kg but i only started improving on myself physically mid december physically. I want to increase this number would it be worth it to practice benching maybe 35-40kg focusing on having better form than putting my all into a sloppy lift?

It's simple there is two type of training, strength focused and resistance focused. Lifting is strength focused, which gives two outcomes an aesthetic physique or bulky physique. If ur goal is to be aesthetic, form will only matter when doing non compound movement like curls, would suggest controlled eccentric in these movements, keep on inc weight till u reach failure (8-10reps), don't do heavy here, hypertrophy will be less and more will be strength gain, due to more targeted fast twitched muscle fibre, aim for reps greater than 8 in all these non compound movement. For compound movement ur form mainly matters during deadlifts, slight mistake gonna leave u with herniated disc, but for a aesthetic physique no need to go heavy on these compound movement, these compound movement targets multiple muscle group like bench press will involve shoulder chest and traps to some extent and these will be a boon for growth. At the end for a aesthetic physique form matters so does the weight, keep it light enough and reach failure

Drop sets, would be a lot helpfull too, while training arms, would inc arm size drastically. I have tried drop sets, doing them since past 6 months arms grew a lot

You're thinking too much. Just go in there and fucking lift shit off the ground and put it down. You can get into the technicalities later once you've put some calluses on your hands.

Not necessarily benching but pretty much any compound movement with bad form. Yes, one rep maxes have an increased risk of injury, you would have to build up to that. I've done plenty and im fine but everyone's different and I was also careful

Injuries are good makes you stronger
You recover and that same area won't get hurt anymore

Its both. You wanna focus on pretty good form atleast and adding weight or reps. Thats how it is done

Not sure about aesthetics but for longevity and health its really important. Fucked my back up like a week ago at work and it was awful. No point in looking good if you can barely even thrust in a girl.
