It depends, 1.6 according to more mainstream sources, although back on lookism there was a thread about this and I remember thinking 1.8-1.9 looked best IMO.

It's not an absolute measurement in inches, as a taller man would need wider shoulders (and wider hips) to look proportionate, whereas a shorter person would need narrower shoulders and narrower hips (again, in absolute terms).

But it's not always about standing out imposingly to have people listen to you, it's also about having a charming, attractive aura that no amount of body size can ever give.
