You don't have to care about it if you just meet women in real life.

Right now though, online dating and social media are the only way to meet women so it is important.

However, I don't think it's possible to succeed on online dating and social media if you're not really good looking, so if you're average, you better focus on looksmaxxing first, because only your photos can give you success with women online. I always did better in real life than online, so now this current pandemic really limits my options, which is infuriating.

Social media only goes so far. It's still a "fake reality". You have to learn to accept who you truly are, or grow to the point where you are satisfied before any real change comes. If you are taking photos of an ideal life, yet going home to eat a bowl of noodles and sleeping in your friend's house or playing video games, it's not real. It's just a projected image that will only get your foot in the door to wherever you want to be. It's just a start/first impression, never a finish.

In this day and age, social media is king.

If you haven't invested in your social image, you are underplaying yourself big time. I'm not saying you have to be an Instagram celebrity or be a Youtube star, but you must realize that nowadays, your STATUS is your SOCIAL IMAGE.

What you show, what you advertise, just like how you advertise and dress up in real life is the same as what you project onto social media. With our generation being completely digital, most of your peers won't know who you are, what you did or what you are into without looking you up. If you are not there, it is as if you don't even exist.

Even dating now with the advent of Tinder is completely digital. They judge you for one second to deem if you are socially valued or not. Work on your image, and it will play to your advantage in real life. Social media and real life nowadays is no longer separate, they are intertwined.

It does help but I’ve seen guys without social media who are very good looking or charismatic (sometimes both) and they make friends with the more traditionally popular types who do use social media and who make an active effort to hang around those they perceive to also be as popular as them.

They are often convinced to get on it eventually and usually get flooded with likes comments snaps etc.

and one thing to note is that social media is more of a reflection of ur social status in real life, putting out funny statuses/sending out funny snaps won’t really elevate that. You gotta become more charismatic in real life.

the only exception tho is if u suddenly became better looking and posted a photo of this on social media, than yeah ur irl social status would go up
