Yeah I didn't expect anything better from that retard. He's from University of Leicestera first class is getting 70%+ over your 3 years of uni (UK bachelors are 3yrs instead of 4 in America for all the USAcels) around 30% of uni students get a first, so itโs generally not that uncommon but a differentiator but depending on the university & subject it can either be a joke or incredibly impressive, (ie a first from Nottingham Trent v a first from Cambridge)
I wanna laugh but my brother went there JFLLL, in general uni prestige is 100x more important than whatever u got on ur degreeUniversity of Leicester
unless uk unis are of higher difficult than the norm i dont think its too impressive.first class is getting 70%+ over your 3 years of uni
Isn't all Russells group unis decent? Like ofc Oxford and Cambridge are another level but still.I wanna laugh but my brother went there JFLLL, in general uni prestige is 100x more important than whatever u got on ur degree
Russell Groups are decent but the lower ranked ones all blur into eachother tbh itโs not crazy hard to get into a lot of the unis there,Isn't all Russells group unis decent? Like ofc Oxford and Cambridge are another level but still.
Why penn State of all places? It is genuinely considered plausible since I am in my first year as a freshers studying law however once I graduate I donโt want to practice law here since I wanna relocate to the states to do my masters there maybe Penn State (expensive) or University of Tennessee. I need to think about the states that do let me have a career there so either NY, Cali (dead) or Texas. So Texas is probably my first option for my future
Just seems the most trustworthy even from an immigrant that comes from the first worldโฆWhy penn State of all places?
yeah law in the uk is so fucking dead thereโs 30k grads a year competing for 5.5k jobs meaning 82% of people either donโt go into law or have to clerk as a paralegal (which is gonna get raped by ai) itโs sooo brutal if you donโt go to a Target School, america has 100x the opportunityIt is genuinely considered plausible since I am in my first year as a freshers studying law however once I graduate I donโt want to practice law here since I wanna relocate to the states to do my masters there maybe Penn State (expensive) or University of Tennessee. Is uni prestige a big thing? Like do employer actively screen for it in the UK.Russell Groups are decent but the lower ranked ones all blur into eachother tbh itโs not crazy hard to get into a lot of the unis there,
in general its
Oxford, Cambridge >>>>>>>> UCL, LSE, Imperial >> Russel Groups >> Other Unis
UselessPlease enlighten me UKcel. Some nigga I know is proudly advertising it on his profile
Being a barrister is so high class you even get to wear a wig in the UKyeah law in the uk is so fucking dead thereโs 30k grads a year competing for 5.5k jobs meaning 82% of people either donโt go into law or have to clerk as a paralegal (which is gonna get raped by ai) itโs sooo brutal if you donโt go to a Target School, america has 100x the opportunity
Anyone who stays on this shithole island is so low iq to practice law or other related professions. Not only the salaries, but a solicitor earns just that much you mentioned or even less than 30k it also takes a total of 6 years after graduation with all the work experience and the SQE bs. However since I am 20, once I graduate at 23 I wanna start my masters then graduate in the states at 24 then sit the bar exam right away and I can even practice law at 25. But in the UK you donโt get to by the time youโre 30.yeah law in the uk is so fucking dead thereโs 30k grads a year competing for 5.5k jobs meaning 82% of people either donโt go into law or have to clerk as a paralegal (which is gonna get raped by ai) itโs sooo brutal if you donโt go to a Target School, america has 100x the opportunity
yeah lmao itโs a very big thing, especially at the start of your career. after ur first few jobs it dosent matter but the tragectory of your career depends on ur first job which depends on ur uni. Employers actively screen for Oxford & Cambridge grads and then usually UCL, LSE, Imperial (for stem), Warwick (for eng) & Durham (for law)Is uni prestige a big thing? Like do employer actively screen for it in the UK.
I don't know anything about law but don't you have to be American citizen to sit for the bar?Anyone who stays on this shithole island is so low iq to practice law or other related professions. @JohnDoe
No not necessarily, however there are states where you can sit it as a non-citizen whereas for some you would normally have to do 3 years of the JD programme but for others you can just do a 1 year LLB since my 3 year LLM can be equivalent to the juries doctor.I don't know anything about law but don't you have to be American citizen to sit for the bar?
Not that impressive. No one cares. The people who do that got unimpressive degrees and lack any other credibility so they cling onto the one thing they have, a first.Taking Hogwarts attendance

I love your elitist oxfordcel mindsetNot that impressive. No one cares. The people who do that got unimpressive degrees and lack any other credibility so they cling onto the one thing they have, a first.
Itโs true. People who get firsts here donโt go around boasting about it. Boasting about something you should be taken as a given to attain in most degrees is pathetic. Much more when itโs a mediocre accreditation.I love your elitist oxfordcel mindset
Depends on what uni and coursePlease enlighten me UKcel. Some nigga I know is proudly advertising it on his profile
