How interested would you be about a thread on how to study or work?

As a low IQ studycel, I would be interested in a study methods thread. I don’t think it’s a great time for a work thread now though since corona is shutting everything down.

Sounds interesting, but make sure it's something that hasn't already been said ad nauseam
there are some mentions of the Pomodoro technique but there's much more I do

overdose on green tea daily.
caffeine + theanine will make you a study god.

I could go on forever about drugs and supplements that would improve your work ethic and motivation...

Is prescription required for L-Theatine?

Is prescription required for L-Theatine?
No, it's just a supplement.

it's a naturally occurring amino acid analogue to L-glutamine and L-glutamate, it acts as a glutamate receptor agonist at a lower affinity than endogenous glutamate, L-theanine also binds to the NDMA receptors and acts as an antagonist, not only does it act as a glutamate receptor agonist but it also inhbits the reuptake of glutamate in the synaptic cleft.

Theanine also increases the release of, serotonin, dopamine, GABA and glycine in various areas of the brain. Meaning increased motivation, increased mood, lower anxiety, better sleep etc.

it seems to synergise brilliantly with caffeine, it basically negates any bad effect that caffeine produces, producing a more relaxed burst of energy. Change your coffee to green tea, tbh.

Green tea has the highest concentration of naturally occurring L-theanine, it also has caffeine.
I've never liked coffee, nor the effects of caffeine alone. So I've opted for Green tea as it makes the caffeine experience for me at least 10x better. I never get the headache I normally get on coffee, which is a plus. And it makes me feel more relaxed and motivated. Caffeine alone makes me anxious and jittery, but with L-theanine, it gives me a confident and relaxed form of energy.

I've experimented with high doses of L-theanine during border-line panic attacks and it has worked, but I don't recommend high doses, that's why I opt for the slow release of L-theanine through binging on Green tea instead of the supplement version.

I mean it's piss-cheap, and if you don't like the taste of Green tea then you can just drink coffee along with taking the supplement every morning.

would there still be a need to switch to L-Theatine then?

-Drink green tea if you enjoy the taste, replace coffee with it. binge on it throughout the day rather than coffee once or twice.
-If you don't like the taste of green tea or the caffeine concentration isn't high enough for your needs, stick with coffee and supplement with L-theanine.

green tea isn't as high in caffeine as coffee, but it still has ample amounts, and if you have 3-4 cups of it daily you're reaping all the caffeine-related benefits whilst also gaining the L-theanine related benefits.

just research in my spare time when I'm not working, studying, friends or browsing this website.
Just watch videos on the topic, 2-minute neuroscience is a good one, or read studies and clinical data.

then you're going to get nowhere retard jfl

without knowing why you're taking it, you won't understand the benefits. Then you'll have no moptivation for doing it in the first place.

Even if you try to go by with as little knowledge of what you're taking as possible, you will still pick up on intellectual topics

I said the side effects and what way it will improve me facially, physically and mentally that's all I care about.
