How is height inherited from family?

My father is 6’2-6’3
Mother is 5’2
Brother is 5’11-6’0 (fully grown)

I am 5’4 - 5’5 at 15.

Everybody on my mothers side is pretty short
Everybody on my fathers side is pretty tall (above 5’11)

I also inherited the same legs as my father (look the exact same, as with my brother)


Will i sit at around 5’4 the rest of my life or will i grow similar to my mothers side? What factors contribute to this?

You probably will not see any huge growth spurts from here, but you may get lucky.

because if you were going to have any big growth spurts it realistically would have started as soon as you hit puberty. Do you have hair on your nuts yet?

Oh nah i had a smallish growths spurt from 13-14, about 3-4 inches

I was always average height growing up, some people on my mothers side were always some of the shortest growing up

My uncle on father side apparently grew a bit slower than everybody else but then shot up around 16-17, we are also very similar in terms of intelligence and interests

Yeah, I don't think it sounds like a big one is coming your way, truthfully. I think those "small" growth spurts were your big ones from the sounds of it.

I measure my height wrong,

My mother is borderline 5’3, i am 5’6.5

And from 05/22 til 1/23 i grown borderline 3 inches

and since 1/23 i grown 1.5 inches


still over lol
