100000% legit. If you don't have muscle memory you don't have muscle to begin with. Your muscles kinda deflate and shrink but the actual muscle is never lost. Muscle memory is just the growth of already existing muscle but instead of 3 years it can take you 6(or less) months this time because the muscle Nuclei(butchered spelling ik) is already there

how fast can you lose muscle? I am pretty sure that you can lose everything in 2 months if you don't train
also can roids make muscle memory? and does the muscle memory last forever?

Muscle memory lasts forever yes. But you need to train consistently for a while in the first place. Depends on genetics and diet and activity level how much muscle you lose and how fast but I think around 2-3weeks of no gym you start slowly losing muscle

I gained 10 months worth of gains in just 2-3 months (granted I put slightly more fat).

I don’t know do you have to relearn how to hold a pencil

You lose the muscle pump in a few days of no training, your muscles will look flatter but won't lose mass or strength yet.
In a couple of weeks you start losing actual mass and will lose it slowly. The more you eat the less you lose but you might get fat then.

But yeah, the muscle you once had is way easier to gain back than it was to gain it in the first place.

Lol, that's not what it means. Muscle is definitely lost. It's just that it will take you less time to build it back.

I haven't lifted in 6 months a single finger and I'm still 2x bigger than before I ever started gym I lost some size yes but you don't keep shrinking forever if you are eating well

i remember how to play some songs on the piano when i was 7

Look up kevin levrone off season vs on season to see muscle memory at its finest. He would train 4 months of the year and come in as a monster (yes he was on gear but its not magical...)

hmmm 4 months is more then an entire extended cycle

There’s a reason dads who don’t workout at all are still strong as fuck
