How long can your hairline stay the same without fin after a HT?

I want to get a HT this or next year.

My doctor told me I shouldn't use fin against my hairloss, didn't really argue why, and I'm also afraid of the Nocebo effect fucking me up mentally.

But how long will a HT alone save my hairline? I'm in my mid-twenties, between Norwood 1,5 and Norwood 2 and have diffuse thinning. Will I need another HT in 10 years? That would be acceptable for me, but if I'm at the same Norwood level in 2 years, it would be not worth skipping fin.

I remember @itsOVER getting a hair transplant and not using fin afterwards, maybe you can ask him
