Assuming you train neck 2-3 times a week. Does anyone have experience with gaining neck muscle

if you're training 2-3 times a week it catches up quick
and you're gonna be constantly inflamed with gives appearance of size

neck is fuller and wider from neck curls twice a week

Damn a 45. I gotta work my way up I’m just using 10 pound dumbbell, hanging off the foot of my bed Jfl.

its been 4-5 months and i already had some neck strength from just generally weight training, untrained bodyparts catch up quickly for some reason

If u just do ur laterals & ur traps the neck will grow you don’t really need isolated neck movements. Not to mention that that shit is dangerous & ur p much immobilizing yourself if u do it wrong

I’d skip the plate curls as well, esp the side ones. Most ppl think they doing them with good form but are just fukin up themselves or going way too hard with the progressive overload. The neck isn’t like a rotator cuff or a wrist where u can afford to fuk up & rehabilitate. You fuk it up once & RIP. Only isolated neck excercise I recommend is with a head gear cause it’s a cable with minimal degrees of freedom for movement

I have been doing this and stopping now 😳

Not long at all if ur at slight caloric surplus. But u lose gains very quickly if u stop training it

Also manual resistance is best for training neck, not plates or dumbbells etc
