How long does it take to get in braces after having your first consult?

Alright, how long though in time? Like i have the first consult, and then we get in contact with local ortho, how long is it until that ortho puts braces on me, in months?

Oh okay thats good i thought it would be months or smth. Idk i am kind of in a hurry bro i cant waste more time being chopped

So basically the whole thing goes like this?
1. book consult
2. get ct/cbct scan
3. have consult and decide on surgery (with scan available for surgeon)
4. 1 week later or so after the consult I put on braces (with some local ortho in sweden)
5. 6-12 months later surgery

You sure its that short? I thought there would be like a 1-3 months waiting period until you put braces on (after the consult) or some shi but maybe im wrong

it was 3 months for me. not every ortho wants to prep you for jaw surgery
