How long does Tretinoin make you peel?

On Friday night I decided to try Tret. I watched some videos so I wouldn’t mess myself up. I cleansed my face, put on some moisturizer, put a pea size amount of 0.05% Tretinoin cream, and then put more moisturizer over that.
My routine for the past few days has been:
Shower when I wake up
Apply moisturizer
Apply spf

At night I’ve cleansed and then moisturized

On Sunday I noticed some peeling
Today there was more
Kinda made me realize how strong Tret really is since I only applied it one night a few days ago
I guess my question is when will the peeling stop 🫩

0.05 but im moving up to 0.1 in a few days

I mean a little peeling is normal just moisturize ur face, but if it’s a lot and redness then u should build tolerance first

The skin around my lips and jawline including chin peeled for around 1.5-2 months

My lips however were extremely dry for over a year . Using the blue vaseline tin has fixed the lip peeling problem now

never happened to me i use sandwich method like apply moisturizer then tret and then moisturizer

It's a sign your irritated to it, i kept going like a dumbass and it ruined my skin and I had to get off after 3 months
