This analysis is an analysis of what couldve drove clav to radically popularise lookism to the level he has, as well as the results and how the herd keeps eating at this culture, in a story of needs for vanity, a appeal to the herds of mankind and how lookism removed its own depth
1)Revealing my own vices and reasons for this- ive always had a problem with appropriation of cultures, im not a person who enjoys being around normies, as i historically in real life has had bad experienecs when around normies, perhaps even ressented them, as i grew more into my thought, i accepted that theres fundamental differences in how me and other esoteric individuals see the world compared to 'normies' of the herd, and when clav started posting, i havent felt threatend, his yt videos offered another vent for esoteric culture to be appropriated for a milisecond before it becomes too popular, and along with clav still being in college i knew he wasnt gonna take risks and appropriate culture, however, there mustve been a shift in mentality when he was expelled, perhaps a combination of a need to get back at "incels" and the community who basically destroyed his future at the time, he may have had the right conditions and justifications lined up to push the culture to the public, now, we stand at a point where yet again the community still hates him, but now hes fulfilled his mission.
2)The psychology of appropriation- Ive perhaps already revealed the motive behind clavs acts of making the sites popular but i havent covered the psychology behind it. Esoteric culture is, by definition, restricted, Its "for the few" which means its power is intense but its reach is small, this was the case with lookism, and other denominations of lookstheory forums, they had depth but no one needed reasons to give them volume
with looking at clavs earlier youtube posts, and looking at his old org posts in general, the esoteric culture of the site didnt offer him enough volume or reach as it were a excoteric practice, thus he wanted the herds attention, he also used the culture of the site for his own extensive fire, as the quality got lowered but the quanity of posts got more, other vices couldve also been fulfilled, all to do with his increase of power felt, clav, by becoming the popularizer, of looksim, he basically became the "exclusive translator" of the culture, thus his power couldve been increased
3)The airvents for herd culture, why the herd caught on so quick- clav, just like the redpillers, along with other grifters, offered in a way faster methods to looksmax, from what ive seen in how the responses and looksmaxxing threads differed, it transformed from a long possibly months long ascension proccesess, to modern kids wanting a quicker, faster and ultimately easier ascension process, clav, in his discourses offer much shorter alternatives then other methods the redpill and such showed, the redpillers who focused on getting women ofc, the herd couldve seen this as attractive. Clav with appropriating this culture, made the herd felt like they were niche, esoteric bluds, without their innate nature having to change, by letting them have a glimpse into the lookism world, he made them want to feel more of this niche culture at the time, creators felt this feeling too, as it gives them a sense of superiority over others if they know the culture before anyone else or the rest of the herd, could be the reason clav got even recognized by the cookieverse and such who were mostly centered around trying to be muh niche, and shitposting, which both are herd features, looksmaxxing in its first stages of popularization made the herd feel like they had growth of knowledge, but they havent suffered teh pain of experimenting with bluepill ideas, or trying out other things, before reaching the looksmaxxing ideology/practice. So in short, clav made the herd have a toy version of looksmaxxing which made them not want to go through actual growth
3)the transformation of ideas to the general HERD- the many things that were sacred to lookism was transformed the complexity, nowadays is a blank black and white opinions, no more nuance to things, theres also lower effort of the individuals, normies opting to peptides and all types of copes, even the identiy of the site was altered, from a internal nature we more or less shared to just the external levelled jargon and opinions others know along with the "looksmaxxing aesthetic/vibe"
4)from sovereign style to popularised aesthetic-modern looksmaxxers arent looksmaxxers, they adopt the style and aesthetic and are done, they speak in the words of us, but dont have the pain of us
the sovereignty of knowledge in the site has been destroyed, its just "common sense" and predictabilty to the herd now
clav, by speaking looksmaxxing unto the people, killed the culture, and everything in it, i see it clearly, as esoteric bluds we need something new, a extention of teh culture and be esoteric once again!
