You say out of 100 people in your country 5 are youtube/insta/Twitch Stars and make minimum 3/4 k a month?
3-5% would make enough to be above the poverty line

1 or 2 out if 1000

Is OP speaking about the general population or specifically about people who make content
If the latter, then it depends on whether you're talking about people who attempt to make a living or just everyone who uploads content now and again

Who attempt to make living

Who attempt to make living
In a year since becoming monetized my average monthly income has been €1.1k
Which is enough for me to live off since it is above the welfare rate and below the tax threshold
I'd say of the people pursuing youtube as their only means of income, maybe 2-5% are able to live from it without any other monetary assistance

I imagined it'd be a lot higher. What's the average view count your videos are pulling and their length?
I missed out on making like €10k in the first 3 months because I got a copyright strike before I had enough subs to apply for monetization then one of my vids went viral
Sub count doesn't matter for revenue imo

Total video views / Total number of videos = 250k views average per video
But the viral ones are causing the skew so uploading a regular video I expect 5k-10k views but I upload everything with the hope that the algorithm pushes it to do better
It is currently the off season in my niche, during the main season I aim for 20k views per video
vid length ranges from 2min - 15 min, mostly around 5mins

Your Iq is that of a monkey.

Everyone has a YouTube channel. Not everyone makes money off it. Now if you asked me this in person, that exact question, I’d have smashed your skull in because I’ve no tolerance for retarded conclusions like that

“Doesn’t have a YouTube channel”

NIGGA where I said that? Smack tf out u bitch

Depends how hard they try.

If you dedicate 20-40 hours of consistent effort probably around 1 in 5 would succeed. But thats after months or a year. You can probably make a grand a month off youtube with less then 10 hours of work a week just doing youtube shorts of reddit videos but a livable income is a bit different.

I know a guy who was streaming on twitch to 150 viewers average 1 year ago.
He's challenger ranked in League of Legends
Now he's streaming to 1100 viewers and does it full time

You need to be really good at your niche AND you need to network big time. This guy rubbed shoulders with all the big LoL personalities and was well liked so they let him blow up. If you're not liked by the top streamers of your game, your chances of getting popular are near 0.
