Who here got laser surgery done? It's a huge looksmax that no one talks about it will bring you up 2 points glasses is a huge failo...

Me definitely worse than 90% of peoples eyes I use lenses but will get LASIK sooner or later
 
I just refuse to wear glasses jfl. I'm probably being a pussy but I am a bit concerned about the side effects of lasik or contacts.

i will go for the surgery if the number of people who got fucked by the surgery is negligible
it would be a nightmare to have to constantly use eyedrop for the rest of your life because of the side effect

My friend got it done. He sees great now. My vision is blurry and shit but I don't ever wear my glasses (I have them but just never bother wearing them)

Get contacts man. It’s a difficult thing at first only if you are not able to touch your eye. Don’t worry though since you get used to it with practice. I know you don’t like germs so you just need to wash your hands and have the contacts be fresh

They aren't worth it long term in my opinion. I just don't wear glasses or anything despite having myopia. It makes my vision a bit better anyway. If you have severe myopia, it would be be different obviously

I used to have them but they fogged up all the time it wasn't uncomfortable really they just got foggy and blurry and I would blink them out sometimes. And yea I would be alright germ wise if I washed my hands I touch my face at home but not in public. I think contacts are also a bit of work to put in every morning and take out before bed you know. I might consider getting some again but I would need an updated prescription

I will get lasik when my vision stabilizes for 2 years straight I am at one year but west contacts which I hate

Bro i wear contacts for days at a time and haven’t had any issues yet. I guess it depends on what brand and stuff you use.

Don’t take risks, if ur gonna wear contacts make sure they’re dailies. Idk bro, lasik is scary. I got temporary ptosis and dry eyes because of tretinoin and it was living hell. Imagine having dry eyes for the rest of ur life

Is that a symptom of lasik? So are you telling me that the only reliable way of going against bad eyesight is glasses?

i have some of the best eyesight ever tbh, i haven’t been eyesight mogged irl yet

i used screen all the time aswell, it’s genetics
 
Glasses are literally a Jew conspiracy. I'm not joking, don't get them.

I had -0.5 myopia and some slight astigmatism between the ages of 15-18 years old but I refused to wear glasses. I refused! I was always squinting, trying to read my teacher's shitty handwriting. As time went on, this became my default state and surprisingly, my eyesight got better. Trying to see long distances is a hunter-gatherer trait. Our ancestors had great eyesight with the exception of mutations of course.
I also decreased my screen usage because it weakens the eye muscles significantly.
