How many people even have a reason for existing at all?

The vast majority of humans have no objective reason to exist. They don't create anything. They don't invent anything. They aren't clever. Most don't even get the chance to indulge in mere hedonism because they are too ugly and poor. 90% of humanity are just wageslaves and useless eaters. Even worse, it could even be argued that they actually subtract value from society since the ruling classes are forced to dumb down civilization in order to keep them under control. Something which they would not have to do if everybody was as intelligent as them.

The world is a miserable place indeed.

regardless of what you say most ppl have a place in society to make things and keep it functioning. everyone has a role, the garbage needs to be taken out, the buildings need to be built, computers need to be innovated. everyone has a role.

you and i both fall under the fallacy that if you cant be the best at something theres no point in doing anything. i fall victim to this too and its a disastrous way of thinking.

like it or not regardless of your position in society everyone contributes. without the workers at the bottom the workers at the top would colapse due to there being no foundation holding them in place.

your primary argument is most people dont create anything, but that is the case. most inventions are innovative out of sheer luck besides tech.

this is a horrible doomer mindset that has been plagueing everyone in the west and it needs to stop

Hedonism = every thing and every humans main purpose in life is to have more net pleasure as possible before death because "you only live once" and people are terrified of dying.

That being said, even things like dieting and exercise are ego gratification.

the truth is none, from the practical standpoint, probably around 50% need to remain just to keep things running. but relatively speaking, if we go by order of most useful/sentience to least, then about 90% of the people don't need to exist because of their vastly inferior genetics and/or abilities/talents. anyone who has driven for a period know that about 90% of the people on the road are inept and useless. this pretty much correlates with every other aspect of life as well.
