I thought i was 5'9 (no shoes) up until 2 days ago i'm actually 5'8 barefoot and 5'9 with shoes so my question is when trying online dating how much can i lie about my height and get away with it.

Fraud an inch max, it not worth it if the girl finds out, which she 200% will.

i've already been saying im 5'9 but its still to short im sick of being a manlet :rage:

wear timberlands and fraud 2inches

I wish I was 5'8, its the bare minimum to be considered short by women, under that your androgynous and a good chunk of women want you dead. I think you can put insoles in your socks so you should say 5'10, but put insoles in socks, so if you have to remove your shoes, your at least 5'9

Every dude lies about their height already. So really when dudes say they are 6 feet they are actually 5’11 or 5’10.5. So you can get away with adding an inch to your ctual height pretty easily. The actual, measured, verifiable average height for white men in the U.S. is 5 feet 9 inches so you are not actually all that short, especially if you are in a place like the northeast where the average height is a bit lower than 5’9.
