Genetics is 80% of your total looks
25% of temporary looks

20% of the total looks

Is

50% diet %40 sleep and good posture
10% low other stuff

It’s probably similar to height where 15% of the variance is environmental

So in height if the standard deviation is 3 inches, the variance is 9 inches

15% of 9 is 1.35

Sqrt(1.35) is 1.16

And then 2 standard deviations of 1.16 in height (which would cover 95% of cases) would be like 2.3 inches.

Basically for 95% of people the environment can increase or decrease height by at max 2.3 inches, usually much less than that (the average effect would actually be 0)

which in the grand scheme of things is not that much

If the standard deviation for looks was 1 psl then it would be around .8 points using the same logic
