How much does hairstyle matter

Can a bad hairstyle vs a good hair style make a significant difference? Right now mine is self cut and shitty and I’m wondering how much PSL is gained on average from a decent hairstyle

Yeah a haircut is pretty important but your facial structure is wayyy more important, but fixing your bad hair will help a tiny bit

If a face does not need complimenting then it won't matter much.

If it there is nothing to compliment then it will also not matter.

For the 4-7 range it can matter a lot, yes. Mainly about getting the right length, studies have shown that medium length has the broadest and best appeal.

I would say it can make huge difference if u have perfect hairstyle for your face if you going from some shit hair but dont expect miracles.

Medium length straight hair is king. Fades are tryhard and make your skull look worse. Only get fade is you have a thick ROBUST skull thats wide enough. Even then, medium hair would look better

Bones are number 1 priority, but the fact remains that hair can change people’s perceptions of those bones.

Hairstyle can make your current bones/facial structure look more recessed or more prominent.

For narrow skulls, medium hair overall.

But honestly for wide/square face, fade is the best as it accentuates bones. Medium sides on wide face can make you look chubby.

I agree with you. Narrow skulls should go for medium sides and wide skulls should get a fade.

It also depends on your hair TYPE and TEXTURE too. If you have very bushy thick unruly hair, you're better off going for a fade.

To pull off medium sides you need straight hair so that the sides on your head sit properly so they're not sticking out too much and making your head look too wide.

I'd add to this that it depends on the 'class' of girls you're surrounded by too. If youre only around low class girls, fade is more appealing. Middle class girls would generally find medium sides more appealing.

Theres a reason why male models mainly have medium sides, it gives better facial harmony from all angles and it's a non try hard effortless look.

It can make a difference, like 0.5 PSL tops. It has more to do with the fact that bad haircuts look like trash and actually detract PSL rather than the fact that good haircuts make you look better.

Even though “just get a haircut bro” is a meme, like it’s actually true lol. Getting a better haircut increased my psl easily by 0.5 points. However if your facial structure is horrible, it’s not gonna make you go from invisible to attractive.
