Not because I love it but my dad has a lot of contacts that are business owners or co-owners and they usually look for engineers to work there and they pay a lot. If I got that title I would have a job before even finishing the career. So yeah maybe that

Idk where I read it, but it was something along the lines of attractive people earning a 20% higher income than unattractive people, so there's that. Regardless, it is obvious to assume why someone attractive will develop better skills and be handed more opportunities than an unattractive person.

Im aware, same with height. Something around 70% of CEOs in USA are 6’1+.

Im also around 110IQ so its not like Im retarded.

I feel if I studied something that already gives a lot of money for working as that I could have pretty much more money than the average that studies it, solely cause of my looks.

Oh, actually I didn't even read the post itself, just the title.

But really attractiveness is just a multiplier, being ugly (unless you're subhuman or work in an attractiveness dependant field) won't really negatively affect your career growth.

Do go in engineering though, lowest unemployment rate, and actually most 500 CEOs are engineers, it's a really valuable field, just make sure you go into a more tech related field, at least that's the way I see it. I can guarantee that things like structural, oil, or more traditional engineering degrees will very quickly start to lose value. Plus, there's just so many more options when you work in tech.

Any job you do as an engineer though won't really require you to be attractive for you to succeed, but of course as I said, looking good is still a multiplier.

Yeah true, still I feel like scaling up in a company is way easier as an attractive person.

Im still in doubt on what to study but economically and opportunity wise engineering seems the best option

Honestly if you're interested in this topic I really recommend this video very interesting stuff, if I wasn't studying software engineering (which is not a real engineering) I would've gone for something like mechanical, computer or electrical engineering 100%

I'm on my first year, I don't think I'll begin to struggle until the 2nd year, as you said. The only reason why I chose software engineering over other careers is because I kinda had been programming to some degree since I was like 14, I've basically of Harvard CS courses, and almost all the MIT OpenCourseWare library on software engineering and computer science. So really no topics have been a struggle for me so far, don't know if that'll change soon, but I wouldn't be surprised

I only makes sense on average, going from 6’2 HTN to 6’4 HHTN won’t make any difference.
