How much does palatal expansion(MSE) widen midface?

I tried to search up some before and afters on google but for some reason these normie fucking retards always take the first picture 1cm away from the camera and then the 2nd picture is like zoomed in and 10m away like yeah obviously it's gonna look like you got insane midface widening if you take the after pic from more far away. Anyways, does anyone actually know how much MSE widens your midface? Is it significant? Let's say you start out with a 1.6 midface ratio(death tier, I know JFL), how much would MSE actually improve it?
