I’m 21 now, so I’m past puberty and don’t need to worry about that anymore. I’m roughly in a 1000 to 1200 calorie deficit, with my maintenance around 2500 calories. I get enough protein and go to the gym to preserve my muscle.
Will eating at this deficit seriously damage my metabolism or cause significant muscle loss?
