Or dairy in general

All the fags on r/tall talk about drinking loads as a kid, although it might be confirmation bias. Idek how u could remember that

I regret not drinking litres and becoming 6'7, cos there does definitely appear to be a link with height

nah you need like trace amounts of milk to get height growth from it,if you avoid it altogether you might lose 1-2 inches

Real raw milk has growth hormone which makes a baby cow grow. Same with pasteurised milk but it may not be as effective as raw tbh but I think there is minimal difference

There are different studies, for example one suggested that each like 250ml extra daily led to a height increase of 0.4cm extra per year. Apparently had some flaws though
Other studies also show minor differences

I cba to link studies now

And also
Correlation between average heights and per capita milk consumption kg person yr in 86ppm

Was plotted from consumption in different countries

Apparently some countries consume on average 1 litre per day per capita

To make a difference you need to be under 11?

Some study said there was a difference from 13-17 or some shit. I just don't know how minor it would be

I stopped drinking milk for like 1.5 years at 16 partly cos I heard shit about estrogens in milk. But I also grew a few inches in that period. Maybe if I were drinking I would have grown a bit more, idk

Yeah but genetics
Maybe if you did drink a lot of milk you'd be an inch or two taller

sounds like cope, if my brother did drink milk and was 6 4 then he could go "wow the milk helped me"

Yeah but he didn't
If he did maybe he'd be 6'5

Studies generally show small increases in height with milk consumption, but mainly what I'm persuaded by is looking at dairy consumption in different countries and height. For example, Netherlands and Montenegro have some of the highest consumption, and tallest

It ain't. Milk consumption is definitely correlated with height. Might not be the difference, but then why is there a difference between different populations living in similar conditions? And ethnics in the west are always taller, so environment definitely plays a role

Genes bro

Genes bro
Obviously genes play a role. But diet could be the difference between someone reaching 6'5 or stuck at 6'3, or whatever

Again, ethnics that grow up in the west are generally taller, despite the same genes. And south Koreans have grown a lot taller than north Koreans in the last 100 years, cos north Koreans are malnourished. Obviously overall malnourishment is a bigger factor than just not drinking milk, but the point is environment matters

Vegetarians drink milk
Are u taller than dad or male relatives?

Tbh unless one had a twin who had a different diet it's hard to assess its impact

the thing is milk isnt super high in protein but becuase it has other sources of calories it means if you drink a shit ton the protein is used for muscle synthesise and not used for energy.

It's also got growth hormones in it naturally, which may be one of the reasons it promotes growth

Basically in every study I find comparing low vs high milk consumption, the high group are taller, but idk whether the difference would be that noticeable. I do think if you drank like 2 litres everyday growing up you would be a few inches taller than zero intake

they also were not starved by a vegetarian diet
I went vegetarian at 16 and that's around when my growth spurt started
I was short when younger, probably average or just below average for my age at 16, now between 6'3-6'4
I was also borderline underweight my whole life

And I actually stopped drinking milk for over a year at like 17 cos thought the estrogens might close growth plates

my growth period basically ended at 15 due to the high stress of my diet and life

No, you just had a subhuman early puberty

I only wish I had drunk more milk. Could've added an extra inch perhaps
