10 lbs if legitimate muscle is a lot
2-3 months u think? i lift 3x a week, swim 1x, muay thai 3x.

do you even do anything other than posting here?
10lbs easy specially when you are that skinny
get a box of carbonhydrate just 2 weeks
not all muscle tho

10 real lbs of muscle in 2-3 months?

Zero chance to be honest with you

A natural lifter will be lucky to gain 20 total lbs of muscle on his frame in his whole life, that’s the magnitude of how much a lb of muscle or two can impact you
U can gain 10 lbs ur first year but after that it drops hard

You can only gain 0.5 to 1 pound a month of lean muscle mass without the help of PEDs.

i refuse to believe to take you seriously since you are not even in it and want clearest bulk ever
there is a defined type of neurosis that person wants more than what he can get to unconsciously barricade himself
just saying

10 lbs can be expected in first year. from then on its a very very slow process.

Not true. If someone is training and eating properly he should gain roughly 20lb as a complete beginner in his first year.

I do agree that 10lb of muscle is not possible naturally within 2-3 months but more like 6-8 months. People don’t usually train right and eat enough

Nobody is gaining 20-25 lbs of muscle in a year dude
Yes because most people won’t train right and eat enough. But will gain more like 13-18lb roughly. If someone did do things right it’s doable. Also 1lb of muscle is way smaller than 1lb of fat

how to train right

He put on a good amount of muscle from what I saw, but that’s a miscalculation for sure.

Keep in mind he’s like 6’7” or so, so his 25 BMI at single digits might constitute he gains more than that 20 lbs of muscle total on his frame overall. But irregardless of that, he is still miscalculating with that claim yes.

Lebron is 250 at 6'8 and is pretty low bodyfat. How many pounds of muscle do you think he has?

usually 1 yr to put on 10lbs of muscle

if you bulk well

Push pull legs bodybuilding split. Do some research and get on a program.

Gotta consider he’s top 1% genetically, hes 6’8” with a long wingspan, and probably on PEDs as well

Hard to really gauge

Do all athletes use PEDs? Aren't they illegal to use in pro sports? Obviously he's a genetic god yeah.

65 to 70 kg. I dont think it will do much

lifetime limit to what u can gain as a natural is usually 25-30 lbs.

how to train right
Make sure u train for strength. You need to be progressing in ur main lifts for each muscle part. Also do volume work don’t just fall for more strength. But yeah overall try to increase ur lifts like bench, ohp, squats, weighted pullups, etc.

High sets, high reps, low weight basically a bit of bodybuilding. Go for like 10-20 reps a set with moderate weight

What if you have 18 inch bideltoids?
then yu have 18in

wait which is better. i just do like 10 reps of weight4 times. . 1st is warm up, 2nd is progressing to max, 3rd is max, 4th is max. is that good? bc u states two different things

It's possible to put on 20 lbs of muscle for an absolute beginner in 1 year, if your regime is really good. After that maybe 10 lbs. After that you're looking at less than 5 lbs a year.
Even when I was 175 lbs I looked skinny

I meant combine them. Your main focus should be progressive overload. Add some extra isolation movements for arms/lats etc for some added hypertrophy

10lb enough to go from looking like a twink yo ripped athlete. You can only put on 0.2 lb per week jfl being natty sucks

how many lbs of muscle you can put on in your first year depends on height and frame

Sit down, get some popcorns and read

you don't need to do warm up for each exercise, lets say for example you have bench press as 1st exercise and you do your working sets with 80 kg, then you'll do one warmup set with just the bar, then another warmup set with 50 kg, (but you aren't supposed to count the warmup sets, only count the working sets), and once you are done with the bench press - let's say you have to do overhead press as 2nd exercise, you aren't supposed to warmup for this too because you are already warmed up from the bench, so only warmup for the first exercise you are doing.
What I like to do for warmup before starting my workout is 10-20 reps of compound exercises - ohp/bench/incline bench/squat/rdl with just the bar, warms up all the muscles.

So much wrong information here tho, one person will tell you it's best to do push/pull/legs split, second person will say fullbody splits are better, 3rd will say upper/lower.. well the truth is there is no "best" split, the best one is the one that can fit your needs and that you'd enjoy the most, all the splits can work but what matters more is how they are structured - how much volume you are doing for each muscle group so you can adequately recover while applying progressive overloard...

You said you lift weights 4 times a week? then I suggest you to find some good upper/lower split and have it on an excel file(or even a notebook works) where you write down the numbers of each set so you can track your progress overtime easily. Here's an example upper/lower that I've followed before:
f4d7b41e2fb92c327b4e59cdf6814b06.png

However if you are a complete beginner it might be too much volume, idk you need to experiment and see for yourself

Tracking macros is another really important thing, if you wanna gain just muscle then you need to count it super thoroughly and be in a very small caloric surplus (ideally 300-500 calories above maintenance) and consume protein about 2 g/kg of BW (so if you are 70 kg then about 140g protein a day).

If you do all that then yes you can gain 20 lbs of muscle in first year but since 99% of people have no idea what they're doing, they'll have shit results and therefore they will tell you it's impossible to gain more than 10 lbs in a year.
And even if you do everything perfectly then you'll still gain a little bit of fat but that's why people do periods of bulk/cut.

This topic is just so complicated and sadly the bluepill info is too much.

Here's my transformation in a year without even tracking macros and taking some time off here and there:

nah dude..we have spoken thoroughly about natural lifting and are on the same page I even shared him pics of my physique etc.

20 lbs of muscle to add to someone is a ton, the top tier natural physique guys are all within that range of 25bmi at single digit bodyfat

It's because what most people think of 'muscle' gained is really some muscle plus fat and water weight. An additional 10 lbs of SOLID muscle on average height person that's decently lean makes a dramatic difference.

For anyone who says gym is cope look at Edward Norton in American History X vs Fight Club... granted is a 6' 1 white guy with averageish face but still he looked way better in the movie.
