How much of our personality is actually influenced by our environment?

I've been thinking about how much of our personality is truly ours and how much is shaped by the environment we grow up in. Our family, friends, culture, education, and even the internet all seem to play a role in how we think, behave, and see the world. Sometimes it feels like many of our beliefs and habits are not something we consciously chose but rather something we absorbed over time from the people and situations around us.

Almost all of it.
It's weird to realize that so much of "us" is just a reflection of others-behaviors, habits, beliefs we've absorbed without noticing. In a sense, we're more like mirrors of our environment than truly independent beings.

Everything good about me is something I deliberately unlearned from my parents

Even if most behavior is learned, "special" people emerge by recombining what they absorb in novel ways. Originality is often just clever remixing of what already exists.

At the end we all are just normies

depends, as long as u dont get screwed up by the age of 5 (90% of the brain develops) ur genetics mainly matter, but if u get abused ur cooked

U can have a good environment and suffer like hell making your personality change
No matter how good your environment is, humans never feel fully satisfied. We constantly want more, and suffering often comes from realizing that factors like money, upbringing, or attention can never completely fulfill our desires or shape us perfectly.
