I lost my mother at the beginning of the year and think haven't been the same ever since, I haven't been able to control my goyslop urges.

I need to get back to 12% bodyfat (currently at 20) : how much weight do you reckon I could lose by basically starvemaxxing for the next 3 weeks ? (< 500kcal a day) ?

Don’t do that nigger. If you’re serious about losing body FAT, which is the only way to actually get down to 12% bf, then I advice you to commit yourself to a high protein diet of 1200 calories. Alongside substantial exercise and strength training to conserve muscle mass

Sorry to hear about your mother man. I wouldn't recommend starvemaxxing especially since you aren't that fat if the 20% assesment is correct. Just do a max 700 calorie deficit, get back into the rythm of working out and eating healthy and build up the habits once again. If you make being fit a lifestyle instead of an occassion you will maintain it forever.

Well, I wouldnt recommend u do that. Diet reduction is much better. You have to lose weight with the intention of keeping it off in the future.
But just calculate ur calorie expenditure example
A man who is 170cm, 70kg, and 18 years old would spend approximately 1700kcal without doing anything.
1700 - 500: 1200
1kg of fat is more or less 7000kcal
In 3 weeks u would burn 25200kcal
(4kg)
ur body adapts to fasting, ur muscles, water, etc., so it would probably be that. 6-7 kg
The biggest problem would be getting out of this without gaining the weight back, I advise you to think better.
Even if u do an aggressive cut, it is healthier than that and simpler to get into maintenance.

Trying to lose weight by starving yourself when u're fat is the worst mistake, u have a higher percentage to lose. Unlike someone whos 15 who could starve themselves and get to 13-12 :feelswah:

I basically starvemaxxed a little bit ago and do not recommend. I lost most of my muscle while my face barely changed and my hormones were fucked too, felt like a woman

1500+ calorie deficit per day is absolutely fine for a period of 4-6 weeks. Make sure you keep protein up and are trying your hardest to maintain strength in the gym. You will not suffer some fucking serious health issue JFL, people go days without eating.

Dont do it. Starving is a bad way to lose weight and as a young person, you can lose weight and still eat enough to get full most of the time but dealing with some hunger at random time peroids throughout the day that only last like 20min or so when they happen. I used to lose weight eating 2300/2400 k calories a day. Plus if you starve you will lose muscle along with it, your hormones profile will get rekt and be bad, you will always be hungry and you will have low energy. Just eat 2300 calories a day with lots of protein, workout consistently, and workout with heavy weight. After your halfway done, add cardio sessions throughout the week. All you will have to deal with is some hunger for small peroids of time that go away. This way you lose weight the right way. If you havent been lifting awhile you can even gain muscle as you do this

What I did I went on a calorie deficit and just ate Fruits and vegetables and meat and beans and did a lot of cardio, I went from like 38% bf to 20% in like 5 weeks. Try to get therapy too, it’s best to not stress because it produces cortisol makes you get a hormonal imbalance and you usually can develop an eating disorder, I’m sorry for you loss man, please get therapy tho, it helps.
