I recently found my brother’s old ps2, and some of the extra memory cartridges that were in it.
Wanna guess how much “extra storage” you got from each cartridge?
8 megabytes.
You payed probably $20+ for only 8 extra megabytes of memory. And that was seen as enough.
Nowadays even the shittiest smart fridge has more than that.
Granted, the ps2 is 1/4th of a century old.
How much do you think storage, and technology in general will advance in the next 10, 20, 50 years.
Especially now that we have AI and quantum computing.
Will we look at terrabytes like chump change in a few years?
Will gta6 look like childs play?
