Story about how my friend got blackpilled trying to pull a stacy out of his reach...
I have that one 5'9 friend who has his standards so high it's genuinely concerning.
He's low mtn but he has no sense of fashion whatsoever, a 5% opacity beard that looks like pubic hair, a unibrow he for some reason doesn't want to shave, humor that is very tragically beyond unfunny and he's broke.
He only got rejected every single time he asked a girl out and he recently told me he fell in love with that one stacy (i knew it was over but i tried to keep it nt).
Weeks go by and he keeps telling me that "oh bro, I'm going to ask her out, i swear i am, i just need a good approach" and eventually, one day he comes back to me with a smile:
"bro, she talked to me, omg this is the best day of my life"
- what did she say to you
"oh, she asked me for homework but i made her laugh in class after"
- is it just that? are you serious?
"broooo, that's a good approach wdym?"
That's when the little bit of faith i had for him got lost in the void. He talked about her every single say and i kept forcing him to ask her out to end her delusions, i couldn't stand having him jiggle in my ear once every month about how he had a 5 second long conversation with her in 30 full days. It became even more depressing when he started to "lock in":
"bro, this vacation, I'm going to work out so hard she will definitely ask me out"
- yea bro do it...
"also i got some good fragrance, a new cut AND some new shoes, I'm going to lock in sooo hard trust"
At this point i just felt sad, I let the vacation happen and he came back the exact same, looking around for validation about his glow up (i swear he didn't change but you could see he felt much more confident so i let him live). A month went by and valentine's day came, every foid got roses and boys were left with nothing.
"yo bro, i bought a rose for her but i forgot to give it for distribution"
- OMG, finally bro, now's your chance! Aske her out rn
"Idk where she is, i can't find her"
And that's where everything crumbled, the 6'1 black guy in our class was walking around, holding her had whilst she had a rose in hers.
That unfortunately broke my mans and he stopped talking about her ever since. I felt really bad until a month later he revealed that he had a crush on her 6'4 htb friend. Do people never learn about their looksmatch? This is a serious pain to watch and I am currently doing all this over again.
