How perminant are new gains? Or do they reverse in 2 weeks of not mewing much

Alright so I started mewing wayyyy back when it first came out on pua hate in like 2014.

I started at 19 years old lmao. I’m 25 now. (Just turned 25 couple days ago)So that’s like almost 6 years of mewing. Started face pulling with belts and trash bags/thumbs at 21 and still do it. Got the idea from the Asian kid with the belt. Then the trash bag idea from someone on thegreatwork.org

my face did change like crazy but I notice when I slack off for a couple of weeks my face doesn’t look as good

I’ve heard that you can lose progress pretty fast. BUT wouldn’t that mean you gain progress back fast too?

Anything that has to do with muscle must be regularly worked, or else it will atrophy. Since mewing is purported to change the bone structure itself, then it should be permanent. It would seem strange to me that after 6 years of mewing, you would turn to a recessedcel in less than a month

If I remember correctly mewing directly effects the bones so it should be permanent.

How much PSL did you increase

I’ve heard your maxilla can swing backwards but I’ll have to do more research. And I didn’t go full back reccesssed just doesn’t look as good.

I mean why do you think some faces drop over the years though? Faces can certainly drop if you’re not keeping good posture.. mike mew even made a video about how brad Pitts face dropped over the course of the years prob due to bad posture

I guess that's a fair point. Well the best way to maintain good angles would be to continually mew. I have retainers that I have to wear every night ever since my wisdom teeth got pulled out. My teeth structure will change even if I skip 2 nights in a row, which might explain the "slight changes" you yourself are experiencing with the maxilla area. I'm not a doctor so I don't know the science behind these. If your mouth feels different without mewing, then just keep mewing. No harm done and I'm sure any "loss" you experienced will quickly rebound with continued effort

Has the way your mandible looks changed at all in the six years? (more defined?, longer?)
