Basically I'm missing 4 teeth in total, one in each "quadrant" of the mouth

His plan is to close the gap with surrounding teeth and then align them all together

He doesn't plan to put implants in the place of missing teeth

Would this cause bone loss or negatively impact my looks or function?

Obviously i would like to get implants but each one is 2000 euros so it's 8000 just for implants, right now i don't have that money

Should I just wait and wageslave?

Asked him about the negative effects of this plan, he just said the only negative is having less teeth

Obviously I'm having doubts

I heard about Hungary, Spain too

I'm in Germany, the reason I would do it here cuz I need bimax as well so orthodontist and jaw surgeon must communicate

The thing is these teeth have been missing for more than 6 years now, and my jaw didn't change in shape so I doubt further bone loss will occur

I asked about the changes to my jaw, and they said it won't affect it

Yeah but the elastics change ur bone positioning... at least thats what i think
U should check r/orthotropics before u do it, the sub is kinda retarded mewing copers but i believe in orthotropics as a whole
Also im in a similar situation rn and im wondering if ur teeth erupted cause they had nothing to bite against?

If my insurance will cover bimax (which I desperately need) i will need to have braces first

If I do the braces, later will be too late for implants

only one is noticably missing but even he is to the side

I guess the only difference at the end would be me having less teeth

then ig he is in a shitty spot

if the only difference is missing teeth and nothing else will get better like your smile then i would think its pointless

i mean straightening to hide the missing teeth is the same thing, it will legit look insane shit nigga
I guess the plan is not bad then, cuz if I decide for implants i would have to delay everything and have 10k less euros

I still need to have a consultation with jaw surgeon so I will ask for his opinion as well

yeah bro in all reality i dont think the doctor wants bad for you and hes trying to save you money and best option, so i think you should just take up the plan because it doesnt fuck up your jaw no smile changes so what can really change just the gaps so thats good and you will not be -10k euros

Good point, he actually has excellent ratings from the patients

Only thing that i don't like he wants me to wear elastics instead of getting jaw surgery, but that is my choice anyway so I'm getting surgery

True but I would need the braces to make a space for implants, so that would mean getting braces here, going to hungary, coming back, braces preparing teeth for surgery, surgery, then braces again after surgery

Which is hell more complicated, not to mention all the communication between 2 different orthodontist in different countries and jaw surgeon
